1 Week Island Adventures

Kaledupa & Hoga

Lush and green, Kaledupa is the second island in Wakatobi. On this journey, visitors will hike around the island in a week. There is a fort in the center of the island on top of the hill, a lake with tiny red shrimp in another village, and a beautiful island off the coast of Kaledupa, Hoga. Hoga provides the best snorkeling and diving available in pristine waters. Sometimes on the west side of Kaledupa visitors can see dolphins jumping. Along most of the coast of Kaledupa there are mangrove forests as well to help prevent erosion. Visitors will stay in the homes of locals for the duration of this tour so they can experience what authentic Indonesia is like. This is a fantastic tour for anyone looking for a variety of activities and experiences.

Tomia

Tomia is the third island in Wakatobi, and on this trip visitors will hike around the island in a week. Off the coast of Tomia is the renowned Wakatobi Dive Resort, and diving is available on this trip as well at additional costs. Visitors will spend one night camping out on Kahianga peak in the middle of the island. There is a huge TOMIA sign made from rock on top of this hill that overlooks the water and you can see the island of Binongko in the distance. On the far side of the island is a fort that boasts another incredible view of the ocean. As visitors hike around the island they can stop and spend the day at Huntete beach, which is the longest white-sand beach on the island. Visitors will also stay in the homes of locals for the duration of this tour so they can experience what authentic Indonesia is like.

*Diving can be added to either of these packages for addition costs. Due to these trips being on other islands, please let us know ahead of time if you would like to go diving so we can line up the equipment for you to go diving. Also, please check out the price list for costs of dive trips.
